FIRST DAY: CITY TOUR IN LIMA

We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf, the Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (the pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid) and the Parque del Amor on the Malecón de Miraflores. Continuing with our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, we will visit the Plaza San Martin, its balconies and old houses, the Plaza Mayor with its most important buildings and finally we will enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. A complete tour with the comfort and attention of a modern tourist service.

SECOND DAY:CITY TOUR IN CUSCO

After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the Lima airport, there you will check-in and take the flight to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it, we will transfer you to the selected hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea. This plant has properties that will help the body against altitude sickness. Then you can rest and acclimatize a bit at the hotel or if you want to go for a gentle walk through the main streets of the city. At around 1:30 min we will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and surroundings. The excursion includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, Cusco Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Coricancha Temple and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman fortress ending at approximately 7:00 p.m.

After having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the Cusco train station, to start the excursion to Machupicchu, the Lost City of the Incas. We will have a trip of approximately 4 hours, until we reach the tourist town of Aguas Calientes, from there we will take the bus and in half an hour we will arrive at the citadel of Machupicchu. Then with our guide we will tour the Inca city between 2 to 3 hours. Then we will have time to go down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, as always, our staff will wait for you and take you to the hotel to rest.

FOURTH DAY: TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Your pick-up time will be at 08:00 a.m. in order to start the tour with a stop at the Corao natural viewpoint, where the guide will give an introduction to the Sacred Valley. We will continue the tour enjoying a beautiful landscape. The first place to visit will be the traditional Pisaq Indian Market. Here you can do some shopping for souvenirs or handicrafts, and then go up to the archaeological center of Pisaq, where after a short walk we will arrive at the main Inca sites. Continuing with the trip, they will go to the city of Urubamba where they will be able to taste the local gastronomy in an exclusive restaurant.

In the afternoon we will visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, it is said that it was built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle. At present Ollantaytambo is considered the living Inca town due to the conservation of customs and urban style that still have its streets. On the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located. You will also admire its well-preserved wall dating from the Inca times, located in the main square and visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico.

FIFTH DAY: TRAVEL BY PLANE FROM CUSCO TO LIMA AND BUS TO NAZCA

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time to calmly do some shopping, then you will be transferred to the Cusco airport to board the return flight to the city of Lima (the flight lasts approximately 80 minutes). At the Lima airport, we will be waiting for you with a blackboard where you will say your name, to transfer you to the bus terminal of the company that will take us from Lima to Nazca, on a trip that will last approximately 6:30 hours. We will arrive to the city of Nazca, where they will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

In the morning after having breakfast, we will transfer to the Nazca aerodrome. Prior to the flight, we will receive an informative talk for a 30-minute overflight over the Nazca Pampas. This area is where the ancient pre-Incas drew gigantic figures of animals and plants for an undiscovered purpose. Many believe that these figures were made by aliens, the most outstanding figures are: the monkey, the spider and the hummingbird. In the afternoon we will take a bus to Paracas, a city 3 hours from Nazca to finally spend the night here.

After having breakfast, we will go to the port of Paracas, where we will start the tour to the Ballestas Islands passing by “El Candelabro”, a gigantic image on the side of a hill. Upon arrival at the Ballestas Islands, the different islands will be visited for two hours, observing the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins and guano birds. After arriving at the port we will take the tour to the Paracas reserve. In the afternoon we will go to Paracas from where we will take the bus to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, we will wait for you at the bus terminal and we will transfer you to the airport so that you can make your arrangements for the flight to your country, there we will say goodbye

FOURTH DAY: TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

On the fourth day, we will take the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start at 8 in the morning to pick up the passengers from their respective hotels, to go to the Pisac market, a famous craft fair. We will visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, and then go to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch. At the end we will go to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. This province is the last living Inca city, among its inhabitants are true Inca descendants. Finally, we will go to Chinchero, an archaeological group with Spanish and Inca constructions. SIXTH DAY: TOUR TO LAKE TITICACA, ISLANDS OF LOS URUS AND TAQUILE

We will pick you up at the hotel, and then we will go to the Port of Puno (Lake Titicaca), where we will visit the Uros Floating Islands, for 45 minutes we will appreciate the customs of this beautiful island and its inhabitants. Then we will visit the Island of Taquile, returning by boat to the Port of Puno. Our staff will wait for you and take you to your respective hotel to rest. SEVENTH DAY: CHULLPAS DE SILLUSTANI AND PLANE FLIGHT FROM JULIACA TO LIMA

In the morning, after the respective breakfast at the hotel, you will be able to tour the center of the city of Puno. In order to coordinate better, the night before we will agree on a suitable time to pick you up from the hotel and move to visit the Chullpas de Sillustani. A set of pre-Inca funerary towers. Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign that will say your name, to transfer you to the hotel of your choice. Upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea, this plant has properties that will help your body against altitude sickness, then you can rest and acclimatize a bit at the hotel or if you want to go for a gentle walk through the main streets from the city.

At around 1:00 p.m., we will leave your hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and its surroundings. SECOND DAY: TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

We will pick you up between 8:00 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. to start the tour, making a stop at the Corao natural viewpoint, where the guide will give an introduction to the Sacred Valley.

Enjoying this beautiful landscape, the first place to visit will be the Traditional Inca Market of Pisaq. Here you can do some shopping for souvenirs or handicrafts and then go up to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq, where after a short walk you will reach the main Inca sites. Continuing with the trip, they will go to the city of Urubamba to an exclusive restaurant, where they will taste the local gastronomy. The fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo will be our stop in the afternoon.

Finally we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station, to board the train at 4:30 p.m. to Aguas Calientes, arriving at approximately 6:10 p.m. We will spend the night at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).

After breakfast in the early hours of the day, we will go up to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, followed by an excursion with a guided service for approximately 2 hours through the citadel. On the tour you will visit the most important places in this city such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, The Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows and The Cemeteries. After the tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu, optionally you can do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu or Mountain Sector, this will take a few hours between round trips (this visit is without a guided service). Then we will go down by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to carry out the transfer and transportation by bus to the city of Cusco and take you to your hotel.

FOURTH DAY: TOUR TO THE HUMANTAY LAGOON

We will pick you up from your respective hotel between 4:45 am and 5:30 am, to then travel in our private transport to the town of Mollepata, located in the exuberant Valley of the Apurímac River. After a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy, we will continue our trip to Soraypampa (3,900 masl) after a short rest, we will begin our walk to the Humantay lagoon, located at 4,200 mt. After the ascent of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will be able to appreciate such a wonderful place and we will return to our camp. Here we will have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and later you will be transferred to the city of Cusco, we will leave you in the center of the city (near the Plaza de Armas).

FIFTH DAY: FAREWELL AND AIR TRVEL FROM CUSCO TO LIMA

Immediately after having breakfast, we will go to the airport of the city of Cusco, which is a few minutes from the historic center. To avoid any complications, we must be there at least one hour before and make the arrangements for flight confirmation, Check – in at the airline and pay the airport tax. We will say goodbye very gratefully and you will take the flight from the imperial city of Cusco to the capital of Peru, Lima.

FOURTH DAY: TOUR TO THE MOUNTAIN OF COLORS VINICUNCA

Very early in the morning at 4:00 a.m., we will pass by your hotel in our private tourist transport, to move along the route to the south of the city of Cusipata -Paucarpata. The tour will last approximately 2 hours, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast (scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, fruit salad, hot drinks, etc.). We will continue for about 40 minutes to the control point, it is where we will start the walk there. Once you reach this point, our guide will give you the instructions and recommendations for the route along with the last steps to finally start. The walk will last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes until reaching Vinicunca or Montaña de Colores at 5020 masl. On the way we will observe the fauna and flora of the area, highlighting the llamas and alpacas that are in the care of shepherds, dressed in beautiful typical costumes of the region. Then passing through beautiful ravines heading to the highest parts, surrounded by snowy peaks (Ausangate). Almost upon reaching the top we will observe the change of the landscape, the colored mountain range – Vinicunca (5020 m/16,466 ft.). Arriving at this point between 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Here our guide will explain in detail about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain, and then take the most beautiful photos with the Rainbow Mountain. We will be able to see the beautiful landscape from 5080 meters above sea level, after that we will take the return route through the Red Valley viewpoint (red mountains). After walking through this ecosystem considered an Andean desert, we will then go to another point in Vinicunca for the photos, then we will return to Llaqto, where our vehicle will be waiting. Afterwards we will have a delicious buffet lunch with a great variety of Novo – Andean food. Then we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.

FIRST DAY CUSCO | CHALLACANCHA - SORAYPAMPA “SKY CAMP” - LAGUNA DE HUMANTAY

We start the day with your pick up from your respective accommodation from 4:00 to 4:30 a.m. approx. Leaving Cusco, we will go to the town of Mollepata (approx. 2:30 hours after leaving Cusco), there will be a short stop of 30 to 45 minutes to have breakfast. Once breakfast time is over, we will continue to the place called Challacancha, the starting point of the walk to Soraypampa “SKY CAMP” (duration 3:30 hours approx. / 8 km).

SECOND DAY SORAYPAMPA | ABRA SALKANTAY – HUAYRACMACHAY – CHAULLAY

We will wake up early at 05:30 am (approx.), after breakfast we will start the day’s walk towards the highest point of the entire route. (Open Salkantay) approx. 7 km. The ascent will be on rocky and steep terrain in the middle of the valley and the imposing Apu Salkantay with sections that will test not only resistance but also good acclimatization. Once at the top, you will appreciate the spectacular landscapes of the Salkantay snow-capped mountains, the second highest mountain in the Cusco region.

THIRD DAY CHAULLAY | LA PLAYA

At 6 am. After breakfast, we will start a walk through trails surrounded by fauna and now cloud forest where you can appreciate the great variety of different fruits such as bananas, avocados, granadillas and passion fruit, our walk through the valley is approx. 6 hours / 7 km. During the walk we will continue appreciating landscapes with small waterfalls, orchids and animals in the area

FOURTH DAY LA PLAYA | LLACTAPATA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES

After a delicious breakfast, we will start our walk for approx. 2 hours, towards “Llactapata” by an original Inca trail whose course will lead us to a small archaeological site and we will enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Urubamba valley and Machu Picchu in the distance. After appreciating the great guided tour we will descend until we reach Hidroeléctrica for an exquisite lunch and we will continue our walk along the side of the train until we reach Aguas Calientes 3 hours / 10 km. Departure at 05:00 hrs, in private transport towards Cachora, a small town located at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level, three hours from the imperial city of Cusco, on the way we can observe different landscapes of different climates until we reach San Pedro de Cachora where We will get our equipment ready to begin our walk that will last 7 to 8 hours. In this trajectory we will be able to observe a diversity of flora and fauna that beautify our path. We will reach the Capuliyoc viewpoint where we will be able to observe the deepest canyon in the world, the Apurimac, and where the majestic Apurimac passes and it is here where we will have our first lunch, we will also have the first views of Choquequirao and then continue with the journey until we reach Chikiska where we will camp.

SECOND DAY

At dawn and after finishing our breakfast we will continue our trip, this time we will have to ascend to reach Maranpata. We will be after approximately 2 hours of walking which will be accompanied by the nature that it possesses and which will surprise us, it is here where we will have the lunch to immediately arrive in Choquequirao where we will have the guided tour, after this we will agree with the group to spend the night and it is possible to camp in Maranpata or in Choquequirao itself

THIRD DAY

After breakfast we return along the same path descending to the Apurimac River and then to Chiquisca where they are waiting for us with lunch. Finishing lunch we will prepare to continue our path that this time will take us to Aguada that is at 2600 meters above sea level, this is where we will spend the night.

FOURTH DAY

After breakfast we will prepare to continue our trip towards Cachora, this will take us 2 hours, after arriving in Cachora we will go to the archaeological group of Saywite and from there we will pass, towards the baths of conoq, we will spend the night in this place.

FIFTH DAY

Very early after breakfast we head towards the city of Cusco.

Summary

This archaeological center is considered as important as Machupicchu. The journey begins in the city of Cusco. After 145 km of paved road and 10 of unpaved road, we reach the town of Cachora, where the 32 km road begins, surrounded by impressive landscapes. On the route we can also appreciate the flora and fauna of the Apurímac Canyon, the deepest in the world, until reaching the “Cradle of Gold” of the Incas

Itinerary

FIRST DAY - Cusco - Cachora - Chiquispa

We leave Cusco at 06:00 a.m. to the town of Cachora (3100 masl) at 10:00 a.m. Here we will meet the horses and the muleteers, from this place we will begin our walk along a gently sloping path, in the On the way we will have the first views of the snow-capped Padrayoc (5,482 m) and Wayna Cachora, on the way we will have a brief rest at the Capuliyoc pass (2,900 m.s.n.m) from which we will have a panoramic view of the Apurímac valley, then we descend appreciating the beautiful landscape of warm climate until arriving at Chiquisqa (1930 m.s.n.m) here we will have our first camp. (Lunch and dinner).

SECOND DAY - Chiquisca - Rosalina Beach - Sunchupata

After breakfast (05:00 hrs), we will continue our walk towards Rosalina beach (1550 m.s.n.m), we will go up the slope towards Santa Rosa (2100 m.s.n.m) place of our lunch, this journey is the most arduous, then We ascend to Maranpata (2850 m.s.n.m), a gentler climb, during this journey you will be able to appreciate the entire path of the first day and the vegetation of the area, we will travel a straight stretch towards Sunchupata, here we will have our dinner and camp; from this point it is one hour to Choquequirao. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

THIRD DAY - Sunchupata – Choquequirao – Chiquisqa

Very early after breakfast we go to Choquequirao to appreciate the sunrise, we will visit the citadel for three hours always accompanied by the guide who will accurately explain about this important Inca refuge and the importance of the Apurimac and Rio Blanco rivers so we can also appreciate the Vilcabamba mountain range, after the guided tour we will begin the return to Sunchupata and descend to Santa Rosa, Rosalina beach, later we will go to the town of Chiquisqa here we will camp. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

FOURTH DAY - Chiquisqa – Capuliyoc – Cachora

After a fortifying breakfast in Chiquisqa (06:00 hrs) we return along the same path until we reach the Capuliyoc pass, two hours away from the town of Cachora, this is a much smoother stretch and we will be arriving around 12:00 hrs approx. During the journey we will appreciate the exotic flora and fauna of the place, as well as views of imposing snow-capped mountains and the impressive Apurimac canyon. and then continue to the city of Cusco. Arriving at the hotel in the afternoon. End of our services.
