Upon arrival in the city of Lima, our staff will welcome you in the hall of the Jorge Chávez airport in Lima and we will transfer you to the hotel.
After having our breakfast, we will go to the port of Paracas, where we will start the tour to the Ballestas Islands passing by “El Candelabro”, a gigantic image on the side of a hill. Upon arrival at the Ballestas Islands, the different islands will be visited, observing the species of sea lions, seals, penguins and guano birds. Upon arrival at the port, we will take the tour to the Paracas reserve. In the afternoon we will go to the bus terminal of the city of “Paracas” to board your bus to the city of “Nazca”. In the morning after you have had your breakfast, we will transfer you to the Nazca aerodrome, for a 30-minute overflight over the Nazca Pampas, where the ancient pre-Incas shaped gigantic figures of animals and plants in the desert, with an end not yet discovered, many believe that these figures were made by aliens. Among the most recognized are the monkey, the spider, the hummingbird, etc. At the end of the overflight we will move to the “Chauchillas Cemetery” where an excursion will take place. Very early in the morning you will leave by private bus towards the Colca Canyon, passing through the feet of the Chachani volcano. On the way you will cross the Cañahuas and Arrieros pampas where the Vicuñas National Reserve is located, as well as Vizcachani, La Pulpera, Callalli, Sibayo and Tuti Villages. You will reach an altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level where you will appreciate the flora and fauna of the beautiful natural lagoons of Bofedales and Mar Atrapado together with giant rocks in the shape of castles. Very early in the morning you will leave for the “Cruz del Cóndor”, place where the Canyon begins, from this point you will be able to appreciate its depth. In this beautiful landscape you will also have the opportunity to see the condor in its natural habitat. After a brief stop at the “Cruz del Cóndor”, we will continue our journey through the Colca Canyon admiring the small towns of Pinchocclo, Madrigal, Lari, Maca, Achoza, Yanque, etc. We will return to Arequipa to rest. After breakfast, we will tour the “White City” including the Santa Catalina Convent, undoubtedly the gem of Arequipa, finally opened to the public in 1970, after having been in seclusion for 400 years, with an innumerable amount of pieces of colonial art. Likewise, you will visit the Plaza de Armas, the cloisters of the Company of Jesus and the neighborhoods of Cayma and Yanahuara, with a magnificent view of the Misti volcano, and we will visit a traditional colonial mansion called the Mansion of the Founder. In the afternoon we will take the bus that, in approximately 6 hours, will take us to the lake city of Puno, where they will pick us up and take us to the hotel. We will take you to the port of Puno (Lake Titicaca) where you will board the boat that will take you to visit the Uros Floating Islands. For a space of 45 minutes, you will appreciate the customs of this island and its crafts. Continuing with the boat tour, you will visit Taquile Island, of great scenic, ethnic, cultural and archaeological value. We will return to the Port of Puno, there you will be picked up and taken to the hotel or if you wish, you can stay in the center of Puno. Finally, the night will be spent at the selected hotel. Having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the bus station of the company that will take us on a journey that lasts approximately 8 hours. We will have 4 excursions and guided visits to the places of tourist interest in the southern corridor of the altiplano visiting the Inca Aymara de Pukara museum, continuing with the tour, we will reach the highest point of the entire tour: La Raya pass, located at 4335 masl. To finish and closer to the city of Cusco we will visit the Andahuaylillas Temple, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America. After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the morning free to walk around and shop for handicrafts and souvenirs from Cusco on your own. After your lunch from 1:00 p.m. we will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and surroundings, this excursion includes a visit to: the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Coricancha Temple and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman fortress. At 7:00 p.m.
We will pass by your hotel in the city of Cusco 1 hour before the departure of your train, and we will take you to the train station, located in the town of Poroy, then we will board the train of the company “PERURAIL” and we will begin the trip from Poroy – Cusco to the town of “Aguas Calientes” (2000 masl) that lasts 4 hours.
Upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, we will go to our hotel, our guide will look for you at night to provide you with the necessary information for the day of your tour, if you wish you can visit the Hot Springs or buy local crafts
Early in the morning and after breakfast, we will go up to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Then you will take an excursion with our guide through the citadel of Machu Picchu, for 2 hours, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Cemeteries. Take the opportunity to relax, take photos and be in this mystical place. Optional: you can do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu, this will take a few hours between the round trip (This visit is without a guide). Then we will go down by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you, to transport you by bus to the city of Cusco. We pick you up at 08:00 a.m., the tour will begin with a stop at the Corao natural viewpoint where the guide will give you an introduction to the Sacred Valley, continue the tour enjoying a beautiful landscape, the first place to visit will be the traditional Indian market of Pisaq. Here you will be able to do some shopping for souvenirs or handicrafts, you will ascend to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq where after a short walk you will reach the main Inca sites. Continuing with the trip, you will go to the city of Urubamba where in an exclusive restaurant you will be able to taste the local gastronomy. In the afternoon we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress and Citadel, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle. Ollantaytambo is currently considered the living Inca town due to the conservation of customs and urban style that its streets still have. On the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located. We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the financial center, the Golf, El Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana (the pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid) and the Parque del Amor on the Malecón de Miraflores. Continuing with our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, we will visit the Plaza San Martín, its balconies and old houses, the Plaza Mayor with its most important buildings and finally we will enter one of the most important convents of the 17th century. After having enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, you will have the day free to learn more about the city of Lima, take walks and purchases throughout Lima, visit the shopping centers, places of business, see the beaches. At night we can visit the Barranco rocks, the pizza street, the Lima water pools, the center of Lima, the Plaza de Armas. As always, the night will be at the selected hotel in Lima.
